Hello and welcome! I’m Gabby, and I help learners feel confident and comfortable using English in real-life situations. Whether you’re focusing on everyday conversation or business and professional English, my lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to your goals. I believe learning works best when you feel at ease, so I aim to create a friendly, calm space where you can speak freely, make mistakes, and improve naturally.
I’ve been tutoring since high school and genuinely enjoy helping people learn in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and practical. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I focus on building confidence as much as language skills. I’ve worked as a Training Program Specialist, where I helped develop and facilitate training for professionals in corporate environments across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Because of this, I’m very familiar with the needs of learners who want to focus on business English, workplace communication, and professional confidence, while still keeping lessons relaxed and approachable. Before studying Computer Science (my second degree), I studied psychology and philosophy and worked as a corporate trainer. This background helps me understand how people learn, communicate, and build confidence, especially in professional or high-pressure settings. It also allows me to adapt lessons to different learning styles and goals. Alongside teaching English, I currently work as a part-time web developer. This experience brings structure, clarity, and practical problem-solving into my lessons, which many students find helpful. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, learning about different cultures, reading, writing, theatre, philosophy, psychology, cooking, and music. These interests often make for great, natural conversation topics in class. I enjoy working with learners from all backgrounds and currently teach students aged 16 and above. I’m friendly, patient, and always happy to support you on your English-learning journey.

My teaching approach draws on my experience as both a tutor and a corporate trainer, allowing me to adapt lessons so that each student’s needs and expectations are genuinely met. I focus on creating a supportive, engaging, and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking and expressing themselves in English. Even in conversation-focused lessons, I often use guided discussions and thought-provoking topics, including philosophical debates, to encourage deeper thinking and more natural communication. These discussions cover a wide range of real-life and topical issues, helping students learn how to explain ideas clearly, use idioms and natural phrases, and speak with greater confidence. My overall goal is to help students feel comfortable using English in real situations, so they can communicate clearly, confidently, and naturally.
