Hello!
Greetings! My name is Jeffrey. I am excited about teaching on Cambly because I love to meet new people and learn about other cultures. I also like to teach about American culture. I feel that learning about culture is extremely important when learning a language. Language and culture are connected on many levels. In order to fully understand a language, you must understand how people who speak the language think.
I have two major interests in life, using technology and learning about other cultures. I love to use technology for everything. I especially love using technology for teaching, which is why I enjoy teaching on Cambly. I enjoy learning about other cultures in order to allow me to relate with people from all over the world. This is also why I like teaching on Cambly, because on Cambly I have the opportunity to meet and learn from people all over the world. Please note that the Cambly platform only provides teaching materials for adult students. Since I don't have teaching materials readily available for teaching young children, I would prefer not to teach children. If you have a child who would like to use Cambly, I recommend using Cambly Kids. I understand that students living in China might not have access to Cambly Kids because of laws in China that forbid using learning platforms that charge a fee if the student is a minor. However, I would prefer not to teach young children because my focus is on material for adults.

I believe in holistic teaching. Not every student learns the same way; therefore, not every lesson should be taught the same way. Lessons need to be customized to fit each student's needs and should provide multiple avenues to learning.
