Hello!
I have over 30 years experience helping ADULTS develop their English skills in a business setting. I have been tutoring on Cambly for 5+ years. During our sessions the focus will be on what you want to get out of the time we have together, so our time is always student focused. If you prefer conversation that's what we will do, but if you want something more structured using the Cambly lessons or other materials we can do that too. I have spent the majority of my career living and working internationally in many different countries and I understand the importance of recognising cultural differences and the role it plays in learning a new language. Whether you are an experienced speaker or are just starting your English language journey I look forward to meeting you and helping you develop your language proficiency.
I have a wide range of interests, I enjoy cooking, doing home improvement projects, watching football, walking with my dog, spending time with my family, visiting classic car shows and listening to music. I have lived in 7 different countries and worked in 16 and enjoy travelling to new places. I particularly enjoy visiting historical locations or unusual off the beaten track attractions. I enjoy coaching people to improve their English conversational skills.

I place an emphasis on a relaxed conversational style, I believe people develop best when doing something they enjoy, so my lessons are as enjoyable as possible for my students. We talk about things they are interested in, sometimes we read and study articles that help them continue to develop their professional skills, sometimes we discuss our cultures or our societies or things that have influenced our lives. I hope that my students can grow in all aspects of their use of conversational English and will find the time we spend together rewarding.
