Hello!

Hi future student! I'm an American who currently lives in Brazil. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of O'ahu which is one of the islands of the 50th US state, Hawai'i. I have a bachelors degree in Physical Therapy and a masters in Health Sciences. I worked in Japan as a Physical Therapist for a few years before life brought me to Brazil. I have been teaching English on and off in Brazil for the past 10 years while managing a family, translation jobs and other small hustles. I am fluent in Japanese, which is my heritage language and I have an intermediate level of Portuguese due to the fact that I have to "survive" here in Brazil on a daily basis. I look forward to chatting with you soon!

I am NOT a very outdoor person although I do enjoy going to the beach. I enjoy playing volleyball and reading books, especially children's literature, in my free time. I also enjoy conversations and going out with friends to bars and cafes. I'm also very interested in cultural differences and how people adapt to different cultures. I am a third-culture kid myself and am also a Triangle.
