Hello, I'm Kim, a native British English tutor with a neutral British accent. I've been teaching English online for several years, and I specialise in helping adults and teenagers improve their confidence, fluency, pronunciation, and natural conversation skills. My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to your individual goals. Whether you're learning English for work, travel, relocation, interviews, exams, or simply to become a more confident speaker, I'll adapt our lessons to suit your needs. Before becoming an online tutor, I worked in theatre and film production, business management, healthcare, administration, and customer service. This means we can discuss a wide variety of professional and everyday topics. Having relocated to another country myself, I understand how challenging it can be to communicate in a language that isn't your first language. My classroom is a welcoming, judgment-free space where mistakes are part of learning and confidence can grow naturally. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your English goals. I believe that learning English should be enjoyable and practical. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual goals. Some learners prefer structured lessons, while others enjoy free conversation with feedback and corrections. I adapt my teaching style to suit the person in front of me and always discuss how they would like corrections to be handled. Before becoming an online tutor, I spent many years working in theatre and film production, luxury retail, business management, healthcare, administration, and customer service. This experience allows me to confidently discuss a wide range of professional and real-world topics. As someone who has relocated to another country and experienced the challenges of communicating in a different language environment, I understand how intimidating speaking a second language can feel. My goal is to create a friendly, welcoming space where students can practise English, make mistakes without fear, and build genuine confidence.
