Hello!

Hello Cambly students! I am a native English Speaker from Los Angeles, CA, currently living in Almería, Spain. I have 10 years of experience teaching in U.S. Public Education, and 5 years experience teaching English as a Foreign Language for the Ministry of Education in Spain. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in History for Teacher Preparation from California State University at Los Angeles, and I also earned my 120 hour TEFL certificate to better meet my students' needs. I look forward to chatting with you!

I was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Los Angeles, California in the United States. I enjoy reading about international topics and History. My favorite book is "Bread Givers," by Anzia Yezierska, which tells the story of a Jewish immigrant establishing herself in the United States at the the turn of the 20th century. I also have a tattoo on my back shoulder from this book. I have 4 tattoos total. Some of my favorite things to do are visit museums and spending the days in the sun. My family background is Latino and my family comes from Mexico. I have step-parents as well, and 5 siblings total. We grew up in the city took many trips to the wilderness growing up, so I absolutely love the outdoors. I used to be an athlete growing up and ran competitively in Cross-Country and Track & Field for almost 10 years. I enjoy physical fitness very much and worked at a gym for a few years. I have an eclectic taste in music and enjoy going to music festivals. I like makeup and tutorials, I also worked in the beauty industry and hospitality during my time at university. I also enjoy traveling and have visited many countries in Europe, North America, and Africa.
